Today was such a busy day running errands, but my hubby and I wanted to enjoy the weather a bit, so we decided to take a walk and just relax and talk on the promenade. The Brooklyn Promenade is basically a 1/3 of a mile boardwalk in Downtown Brooklyn where you can walk, jog, skate, bike, and/or just sit on the benches and watch the sunset. While on the boardwalk, you get a fantastic view of the lower Manhattan skyline.
Since we were going to be running errands almost the whole day, I decided on a very casual chic look.
About to get into the Fire Cracker Ice my hubby bought me from the ice cream truck :-)

Shoes: Zebra print platform wedges- Chinese Laundry
Since my outfit was so casual, I took the opportunity to punch it up with these wedges. It definitely added attitude and made the overall look very chic.
I saw this payphone and just couldn't resist a photo-op....lol
Handbag: Black suede hobo bag with brown leather straps- Dooney & Burke
Before I go, I had to add a pic of this little guy. My hubby noticed that he was limping. Upon closer inspection we realized that one of his claws was damaged. I had to take the picture. I hope he gets better soon
