Outfit of the Day: Date Night at the Museum

My honey and I decided to spend our night at the critically acclaimed Brooklyn Museum.  I'm a lover of art, so of course I love museums, but this one specifically has special meaning to me. I went to high school right across the street from it, so I often spent a lot of time after school hanging out and discovering art and different cultures of the world in this museum.

Like most museums, the dress code is casual (except when hosting private parties and/or exhibitions). I decided to go for a semi-casual look. It was about 90 something degrees outside, but I still wanted to look chic, but comfortable.

It was great to be around my old stomping grounds hand in hand with my hubby. There is nothing like  a breezy summer's night with the one you love.
