Runway to Everyday: Viktor &Rolf Ruffle Shoulder Blouse :-)

As I shared on Instagram days ago (side note- if you are not following me on Instagram what are you waiting for?!?!  My Insta-Glams get the scoop first lol)... I fell in love with this Viktor & Rolf blouse from the time it debut at their Fall '11 runway show for Paris Fashion week. Realistically, I didn't think that I would purchase it, but this past sales season was pretty good, so I decided to look it up. I searched and searched and  I finally tracked it down for 50% off plus an additional $50 off coupon code. Jackpot!!!

I'm so excited! When I first laid my eyes on it, it was love at first sight because it is sooo me, but now that I actually have it, I love it even more! It's 100% silk and gives a couture look on a "ready to wear" budget lol. I'm so excited to see the different looks that I can create around it. Whenever I research investing in a piece , there are a few guidelines that I always try to adhere to. One of them is making sure that I can get multiple styling options out of that item, that way it's easy for me to calculate whether or not it's worth purchasing.

Just for starters here are 3 simple but chic looks to start with (it's the month of love, so I decided to style the options with pops of red :-)

*obviously because the top is so sheer, I would recommend wearing a camisole underneath all of the looks (especially the first one). Divas can keep it sexy and classy at the same time :-)
