OOTD- (Sparkling) Gray Hound :-)

Last night hubby and I celebrated a special anniversary, so we decided to make a date night out of it. I looked in my closet and this sequined houndstooth skirt caught my eye. Because of the large scale houndstooth print and sequins, the skirt automatically became my statement piece. To keep the look balanced, I decided to keep my top pretty simple with a gray jersey turtle-neck and black fitted blazer for a more polished look. Before heading out the door, I decided to add a pop of color with a red clutch to add a little accent to this otherwise black and white ensemble. I hope you divas like it :-)

Are you geared up for today (Valentine's Day)? Whether you are celebrating with your special someone, a group of friends, or by yourself; remember to take a little time to spread some love. It's always amazing to me how a simple smile from someone can brighten another person's day or how genuinely asking someone how they are doing can have such a lasting impact. So many people are hurting every day, so I consider Valentine's Day as a day not just to show the people that you love how much you love them, but also to remember to spread just a little extra love and take a little extra time to let others know that they matter.
