You all know how much I love sequins, so I'm always trying to figure out how to incorporate into my wardrobe (lol); even in the day. Who says that sequence is only for night time? Regardless of who says it, who cares? Style is all about injecting your personality into your garments.
I found this sequined sweater at Asos and had to have it because it is sooo me lol. The classic argyle pattern keeps it cool & casual, while the glitz of the sequins definitely glams it up. Worn with jeans and flats (or wedges), it is a great day outfit; pop on a pair of heels and it transforms it from day to night. I said in my last post that this month I am determined to wear a bit more red, so I added a pop of color with a pair of red heels.

I wore this outfit all day, got a few stares (lol), but I also received a lot of compliments. Remember the #1 necessity when wearing any outfit is confidence. As long as you are happy with what you are wearing (and it isn't offending anyone), then it really doesn't matter who isn't (especially when wearing sequins in the day time lol :-).
Would you consider wearing sequins in the day or do you believe that it is only appropriate at night?
I would wear sequins during the day. Your outfit looks hot, especially the pop of color on feet and lips.

ReplyDeleteExactly girl, no fears! ....just because it's the month of love aka Valentines Day (lol). I doubt that I will wear red super often this month, but I hardly ever wear red, so I figure I will make more of an effort this month :-)

Honey Child (as my mom used to say to her g-friends back in the day) If you did not ROCK this freaking Look! OMG! I love errthang, and yes I said Errthang (in my St Louis accent!) I really love this Sequin Argyle-Pattern sweater (IT ROCKS) toned down with the dark denim jeans, then turned back up a notch with those Red YSL shoes (Shout out to your Hubby for the lovely gift-Lucky girl) I love all of your looks as usual and I am such a FAN!
