Hello Lover: Falling for Leopard w. Fabio Rusconi's Olivia-L :-)

Fall is literally around the corner, so it's time for me to update my wardrobe with some fall pieces to get me through the season. While browsing some of my favorite sites, I stumbled upon these Fabio Rusconi shoes and knew that I had to have them for the fall season. They are such a fun and interesting way to play upon the leopard "trend" (I say "trend" because many have said that leopard is a passing trend, but it's been holding it's on for over  a decade now so I don't really consider it a trend. I think of it as more of a staple when done correctly).

These shoes are absolutely gorgeous and extremely comfortable thanks to the 1.5" platform and thick 5.5" heel. They are constructed of a leather (suede) upper, leather lining and sole. I love that the platform and heel are the only places on the shoe adorned with the calf hair leopard print. It really makes the shoe pop and stand out of a crowd. The camel suede color of the upper part of the shoe is right on target for the fall and is a great compliment to the leopard print. This shoe is sure to make quite a few appearances this season with my wardrobe.

A big Hello Lover to one of my favorite fall purchases so far...Fabio Rusconi's Olivia L.

Do you think leopard/ animal print is a trend or a classic wardrobe staple when done correctly?

  1. it's a classical statement piece when worn correctly. i also believe, when wearing leopard, a woman should also wear red lipstick. it gives it more of a DIVA appeal.

  4. I agree that leopard is a staple and very classic. I actually had a pair of leopard flats that I loved, loved, loved. Unfortunately I had to give them away because my feet grew a little and they were fitting tight. They were very classy and dressed up jeans and a t.
