Karats and Cream on an Easter Morning :-)

This wasn't the outfit that I originally wanted to wear today, but because I'm in my church's choir, sometimes we have to abide by a color code policy depending on the occasion. Since today is Easter (Resurrection) Sunday, the person in charge of the color code decided that we should wear cream and gold. I was a bit disappointed since I already had my cute Easter outfit picked out, but it is what it is (lol).

I found out about the color selection on Wednesday, but didn't really give any thought about it until Saturday night. While looking through my closet, I found a few cream pieces (mostly tops and blazers), but I didn't have any appropriate bottoms to compliment them that would fall into the color code; then all of a sudden it hit me that I had this cream dress. The great thing about it was that all I had to do was accessorize it with a few gold pieces and I was set.



(Don't mind the scars on my legs, they're proof of an active childhood :-) lol
