Stardust and Sequins :-)

I'm not a big fan of leggins as outerwear on myself (only because I feel like my legs are too thin to pull it off), but recently I came across a pair of leggins that has me thinking otherwise. On my recent shopping trip to ZARA, I came across a pair of leggins that has one of my absolute favorite embellishments...SEQUINS!!! I was so excited. I grabbed the pair and headed into the dressing room; to my surprise the size that I normally wear couldn't even go past my thighs. I was like WTH is going on?! I looked around for a zipper on the side, back, front, nothing...I was thinking to myself how are people supposed to wear theses things? I asked the dressing room attendant to kindly see if she can help me get the next size up and she did. It fit perfectly (although pretty snug). FYI- if you are in the market for a pair of sequined leggins from ZARA, get the next size up.

Tonight my hubby and I have a few errands to run and places to stop by, including church (our church is having a convention this weekend). I wanted to dress a bit casual, but still chic since we were going to a few places. Adding the vest definitely tied everything together.

Quick question- What are your feelings on leggins as outerwear (especially now that it's getting warmer)?
I personally don't have an issue with it as long as we don't see any camel toe (lol). There are just some things that we all don't need to see (including every dimple in a woman's backside regardless of her size), but that's just my opinion. What yours?

    I feel if the leggings are the cheaper, thin material they should only be worn to the gym. But if they're seam leggings and a little bit thicker it's fine (I have a pair from New York and Company that I love!)

    But I love this outfit. I'm skinny as well so it's great to see that you're not afraid to embrace your skinny legs :-)

    They must be the thick kind. The ones that feel like stockings are NOT to be worn as pants.

    And they must cover cooter and bum. I was laughing the other day because my professor said in class that one of her peeves is leggings worn as pants with short shirts...well half the girls in the class were guilty as she said it- and I study retail.

    Cute outfit. Those leggings definitely make your legs look thicker...maybe cropped leggings will work best for you rather than ankle length ones. I like wearing leggings, but I hate to see people wearing them as pants. I only wear them under tunic length tops like you are wearing or under dresses. I totally love this look!

    I just hate when girls wear white ones as pants because they are so see-through.
