A Green Camel in Brooklyn :-)

I've recently been on a quest to add some punches of color into my wardrobe. I'm a New York city girl and we all love our black because it makes us look so chic, but spring is here and my closet is screaming out for color. On my recent shopping  trip to Zara (haul video coming soon :-), I was pleasantly surprised to see color everywhere that I turned; from blazers to jeans to purses, it was everywhere. I almost became a bit overwhelmed, but I was determined to leave with something that wasn't black, gray, or brown.

As I walked through the store I saw this blazer and I knew that I had to have it. It wasn't any of the colors that I was trying to avoid and it wasn't too bright to scare me away. It also was a great color to wear all year 'round.

I've been waiting around for the weather to feel like spring before I started to dress like I was in spring, but I've gotten tired of waiting, so I decided that I'm going to make the first move (hopefully it will provoke the weather to warm up lol). I decided to build an outfit around my green blazer and wear it to church, then brunch with my hubby.

I love putting colors together that people don't always automatically think of like green, camel, & pink. They all compliment each other so why not? lol
