Fall Indulgence- Moschino Belt :-)

I've had my eye on this belt for many years, but always managed to talk myself out of it. The problem is that after I would talk myself out of it, a few months later I would always talk myself back into why I had to have it. This has been a cycle for me concerning this belt for the past few years because I'm normally not one to spend this sum of money on a belt. I normally view belts as trendy accessories and as you know, I still prefer to spend sparingly on trends.

The reason I find that this belt is different is because although it's trendy; it's also pretty classic. I remember images of my mom from the 80s with fitted jeans and a Moschino belt (maybe subliminally that's why I could never get this belt out of my head). My mom actually ended up donating hers when she couldn't fit it anymore to the Salvation Army when I was in elementary school (which was a nice thing, but if only I knew then what I know now...urghh lol).

Well I decided to finally get this belt out of my head and into my hands over the weekend...












This belt is a great statement piece to a simple outfit. Can be worn around the waist or low on the hip (that reminds me, I have to take it to get a couple of extra holes placed on it so that I can wear it securely around my waist). The SA also told me that they were sold out for a while, but they are back in stock with a more durable leather. You can currently find a few on ebay, but why take the chance of not getting an authentic one for almost the same price as an authentic one, when you can get it directly from the boutique or the MoschinoBoutique online?
