OOTD- Shopping with a Pink Panter :-)

I first would like to apologize for my lack of posts to my blog recently. My blog is very important to me and I truly appreciate all of you that have supported me so far. I will make more of an effort to post more frequently and continue to bring you content worthy of VivaDivaGlam.com. VivaDivaGlam just celebrated one year last week and I am truly touched by all of your encouragement. This blog is mainly about my personal style. I know it may not be everyones cup of tea, but I still appreciate you taking the time to check it out and encourage my love for all things Diva-licious. I know it still has a way to go, but your encouragement makes it a lot easier. Thank you divas sooo much :-) I'm looking forward to many more years of sharing my love for all things Diva with you.

Happy Birthday VivaDivaGlam- Long Lives the Glamour that transforms a woman into a Diva! :-)

Now unto my post...

My bestie and I share a love for shoes, so we decided to go with our hubbies and check out a couple of shoes that we've had our eyes on for a little while. All I can say it that it was truly an adventure lol, but loads of fun. After our shopping excursion we had dinner at a restaurant that is really not worth naming (I will not be eating there again). Besides the food, the day was a blast and it was fun having a shopping buddy that really cares about "girly" fashion as much as I do (no offense hubby lol).

I decided to go for a casual chic look because we were headed to dinner after shopping. My outfit started with my pants and I lightly color blocked my way out lol.  I like the color blocking trend, but sometimes I don't like when it's so obvious that a person is following a trend. I've always believed that even if you are following a trend, it's important to make it your own.

  2. Hi Claudia :-)
I've had these shoes for a couple of years now and they are pretty comfortable for a heel to me. I actually walked in total about 25 city blocks, but didn't really start feeling any discomfort until the last 5. I wasn't planning on walking so much, but we were on a quest lol.
Have you tried adding a little padding to the balls of your feet? Maybe it may help with the discomfort :-)

  4. congrats on the blog anniversary! I totally agree with you about making a trend your own, there's no point in blindly following fashion if you lose you personal stye in the process.
    P.S Love the outfit! x

  5. I LOVE those pink pants! Pink is my favorite color, so one would think I'd have a closet full of pink bottoms, but sadly I don't. I'm tall and a lil curvy in the middle so its hard to find cute pants that are long enough or can come up over the booty, lol. So I might check Zara or just keep trying to search online.
But very cute outfit girly! I love your style.
