☞Beauty Tuesday- My 7 Must Have items for an Everyday "natural" Diva-licious Face :-)

I decided to start a new series titled Beauty Tuesdays right here on VivaDivaGlam.com. I love fashion and style, but I also love makeup and skin care just as much; so every Tuesday get ready for a beauty post of cosmetics and skincare items that I am loving or hating lol.

Today I'm going to share with you my 7 must haves for an everyday natural sun kissed diva face. These items can be totally different for you, but these are the items that I've noticed that I've reached for the most so far this summer.

The only thing that I questioned including on this list was my go to summer foundation MAC's Face & Body. The only reason that I didn't include is because although I love it and use it often, I have also been experimenting with mixing moisturizers with a few of my other favorite foundations like Revlon's ColorStay to make a tinted moisturizer; which has also been working fabulously for me. I am fully aware that some ladies prefer just powder in the summer which is completely understandable, but if you want or need just a little bit of coverage, definitely check out Face & Body or making your own tinted moisturizer.

Now unto the list...

Ever Summer Face must have at least spf 30  on it. I also like MAC's Face Protection Visage with spf 50 (it works as a great primer for oily skin types).

MAC's Mineralized Skin Finish Natural- This mineralized powder is great if you want just a bit of a sun kissed glow to your skin. It's very subtle but effective and won't leave your face looking like a disco ball.

Urban Decay Naked Palette- This palette is a must have for natural glam looks. It can easily take a diva from day to night (from the office to a fabulous night out). This palette won't disappoint. If you can get your hands on it, definitely do so and give it a try.

MAC's Fabulush Cream Color Base- This orangy coppery cream base is great for so many reasons. It can be used on your eyes, cheeks, and lips. The Fabulush color is great on almost all skin tones to give a summery warm glow to the skin. Apply with a stippling brush for more control and better blending

MAC Raizin Blush- Although I love Raizin all year long, there is just something about it on medium to dark skin tones in the summer that is just beautiful. Raizin is a definite staple in my arsenal. Although I have many different color blushes, when in doubt, Raizin never let's me down.

MAC CB96 Lipstick- I remember the first day that I saw CB96 at a MAC counter. I wasn't impressed just by looking at it, but when I swatched it, it became a must have. This frosty orange lipstick, definitely adds some glam to a natural divalicious face.

Black Opal Patent Glam Lipgloss- Glam looks like deep liquid gold when applied to the lips. Worn on it's on or over your favorite lipstick, Glam gives of the appearance of being kissed by the sun on your lips.

When all of these items are combined, you can't help but look like a fresh faced golden goddess. Just add your favorite dark eyeliner and lashes to take your from day to night and you are set :-).

What are some of your favorite must have everyday cosmetic item?

  2. Yes, that Black Opal lipgloss is cute. My favorite everyday cosmetic items are my MAC Studio Fix Powder plus Foundation, MAC Studio Finish Concealer (I cannot go out w/o this), Maybelline Colossal Volume Mascara, NARS blush in Super Orgasam, ELF's cream eyeline in Copper and Nivea's Shimmer lip care. The Nivea keeps my lips so moist and soft. I love it! These are what I use every single weekday unless I need to "glam it up" for a special occasion or if I have enough time in the morning before work to add eyeshadow and do some tricks with my eyeliner. If you haven't tried that NARS super orgasam blush yet, I recommend it ;)

  5. I've been hearing a lot about Urban Decay Makeup, and that palette of colors looks fantastic! I will have to try them! How is the foundation from MAC. I've tried a few of them and they make me look "washed out" in photos. Do you have any problems?
