OOTD- Bridal Shower Chic :-)

So this weekend was full of activities, but one of the best moments was a surprise bridal shower that was thrown for one of my closest friends. I've known this girl (well now woman) for about 15 years now and I am  beyond proud of her. Every accomplishment is just proof of God's faithfulness in her life. From college, to med school, to residency, and now marriage; I feel like a proud big sister (Tolu, I love you :-).

Well enough of my gushing...unto the ootd...
I decided to wear a dress today because let's face it... I love dresses, but this was also a very feminine occasion (various women coming together to celebrate another woman entering the institution of marriage) and what's more feminine than a dress?


Dress- Asos

Necklace- TheGlamCloset

Shoes- Sam Edelman Novato

Leather Clutch- Aldo

I had a great time. From playing games, to opening gifts, to just offering up little tidbits of advice to the future bride; it was a great part of my Saturday. Seeing the surprised look on her face was priceless. I am soo looking forward to the wedding in less than 2 weeks. I know that it's going to be a blast!

    That suits you very well. And I like the combination of two classic colors, the intricate detail on the dress and the trendy pair of shoes.
    BTW, excuse me if I am being too curious, what kind of workout do you do? Your legs look great!
