I went to Saks last week looking for a specific item, but while there I decided to make a stop at the shoe salon just to take a look at the pre-Fall collections, when I came across a shoe that stopped me in my tracks. I'm usually the girl that likes a little razzle dazzle (I love a statement shoe), but these shoes made a statement to me with their gorgeous color and classic silhouette. At first when I walked towards them, I was thinking to myself, "these are such a beautiful pair of blue suede shoes", but then when I held them in my hands, I realized that they were actually purple shoes with a blue base. The color is so rich and beautiful, I just had to try them on. The selling point for me was that even though they are gorgeous in person, they are also incredibly comfortable. It was a no brainer, these babies had to come home with me.
Hello Lover... Giuseppe Zanotti Suede Platform Pumps :-)
(Above picture is from SaksFiftheAvenue.com)
On the Saks website, I know that they don't look like much, but in person the color is absolutely gorgeous.
The heel is 5", but has a 1.5" hidden platform stacked upon an additional visible platform, which makes it super comfortable for a high heel.

They fit true to size. I'm normally a size 8.5 and in these I'm a 38.5. Other department stores currently have them with an an ankle strap and with a peep toe or closed toe option, but I prefer them without an ankle strap because they are more classic and makes the legs appear even longer imo.
I'm so excited because I don't have anything like them in my wardrobe. Like I said earlier, I'm all about a statement shoe, but I'm realizing that sometimes razzle dazzle is not always necessary, something as simple as a beautiful color can make a statement as well.
